HC Deb 11 November 1936 vol 317 c871
55. Lieut.-Colonel HENEAGE

asked the Minister of Transport, whether, having regard to the new proposals contained in the report of the Committee on Electricity Distribution, dated the 8th May, 1936, he is now prepared to publish the evidence given before the committee?

Evidence was taken by the committee on the understanding that it would be regarded as confidential.

Lieut.-Colonel HENEAGE

While I recognise the difficulties of the Minister, may I ask him to recognise the difficulties of the districts and others in this matter?

If my hon. and gallant Friend can suggest any manner in which I can assist him or them, I shall be only too pleased.
