HC Deb 10 November 1936 vol 317 c686
38. Mr. GUY

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will consider the establishment of a civilian anti-gas training school in Scotland?

Mr. ELLIOT

I am not satisfied that the establishment of such a school in Scotland would be justified in present circumstances.

Mr. GUY

Will my right hon. Friend take into account that if people have to go from Scotland to England to obtain training, serious considerations of expense and inconvenience will arise?
