HC Deb 09 November 1936 vol 317 c486
22. Sir NICHOLAS GRATTAN-DOYLE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs when the Brazilian authorities granted revision of tariffs for the services of the Cantareira and Leopoldina Terminal Company; and, if adjustment has not yet been made operative, will he request His Majesty's Ambassador in Rio de Janeiro to obtain information as to the date upon which the long continued maltreatment of British capital which provides these services to Brazilian subjects will be brought to an end?

Viscount CRANBORNE

His Majesty's Ambassador at Rio de Janeiro has reported that negotiations on this subject are still proceeding.
