§ Sir K. WOODThe number of structurally separate dwellings in England and Wales at the census of 1931 was 9,400,000. I will send my hon. Friend a copy of the half-yearly publication on housing, Table II of which shows the number of houses built in each half-year since the census. I regret that I have no complete information in regard to the number of houses demolished during this period.
§ Mr. WILLIAMSWill my right hon. Friend give an approximate estimate of the total of the demolitions?
§ Sir K. WOODPerhaps my hon. Friend will consult me on that.
§ Mr. THORNEWill the information give the number of houses that have been built for sale and the number that has been built to let?
