HC Deb 05 November 1936 vol 317 c226
27. Mr. C. WILSON

asked the Minister of Health what number of houses in Sheffield have now been dealt with under clearance orders, how many still remain to be dealt with, and within what period it is estimated that they will be dealt with?

Sir K. WOOD

At 30th September Sheffield City Council had submitted to me orders covering 8,709 houses, leaving 291 houses still to be dealt with on their slain clearance programme. I have every reason to think that this outstanding balance will be dealt with in the near future.
