Sir Frederick Leith-Ross will shortly be proceeding to Tokyo in order to renew contacts in Japan and to have a further exchange of views on financial and economic questions of common interest to the United Kingdom and to Japan. He will subsequeutly be returning home by way of China.
§ Mr. BOOTHBYCan the Noble Lord say whether Sir Frederick Leith-Ross is still the chief economic adviser to the Government—is he still retaining the position, or temporarily abandoning it?
