Mr. M. MacDONALDI have no information with regard to the party of tourists mentioned in the first part of the question. All travellers to Palestine may be required, at the discretion of the passport control authorities, to deposit a sum of £60 or a guarantee of a similar sum, as security for their departure from Palestine within the statutory period of a temporary visit.
