§ The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Major Tryon)The total capital expenditure, exclusive of line plant costs, up to 31st March, 1935, was about £15,250,000. I am sorry that it is not practicable to separate the cost of line plant provided for automatic and manual exchanges. The answer to the latter part of the question is in the affirmative.
