HC Deb 16 March 1936 vol 310 c42
44. Mrs. TATE

asked the Attorney-General the causes of delay in winding up the estate of Mr. G. H. Freeman?

The ATTORNEY-GENERAL

I am informed that this is a complicated matter. There has been no avoidable delay on the part of the court. The conduct of the matter is in the hands of one of the creditors of the estate of the deceased. If any other creditor thinks that the executor or administrator is not proceeding with all due diligence, he can apply by summons to the court to be given conduct.
