HC Deb 02 March 1936 vol 309 c983
19. Mr. SIMM0NDS

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether the committee set up in May, 1935, under the chairmanship of the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster to consider what methods are necessary to accelerate the revision of the ordnance survey map has reported; if so, what action he proposes to take upon this report; and when the recommendations of the committee will be made public?

The MINISTER of AGRICULTURE (Mr. Elliot)

I would refer my hon. Friend to the statement, of which I am sending him a copy, which I made on Thursday last in reply to a question on the subject by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Newbury (Brigadier-General Brown). While it is not proposed that the report should be laid before Parliament, arrangements are being made for its early publication.
