§ Sir G. COLLINSThe local government and other officers' Superannuation Act, 1922, has been adopted by seven counties and 12 burghs in Scotland. In addition, Glasgow and Edinburgh have superannuation schemes under Local Acts, and three counties and four burghs are in process of adopting the 1922 Act. The matter referred to in the last part of the question involves legislation, and I am not at present in a position to make any statement.
