§ Captain CROOKSHANKYes, Sir In August last the South-West Durham Reconstruction and Development Board appointed an eminent mining engineer to make an industrial survey of the coal mines in South-West Durham, with special reference to the water problem. I understand that this gentleman's report is likely to be ready for submission to the board at the end of next month.
