§ 35. Mr. DAYasked the Home Secretary what steps have been taken by the Commissioner of Police for the Metropolis to create a first police reserve in London, composed of police pensioners and other suitable men, similar to that which is in existence in the county and borough forces of England and Wales?
§ Sir J. SIMONA scheme has been adopted and a register of suitable men is being compiled at Scotland Yard. There are already over 100 names on it.
§ Sir J. SIMONI do not know that that has yet been decisively settled, and I could not answer without notice.
