HC Deb 15 July 1936 vol 314 c2018
5. Rear - Admiral Sir MURRAY SUETER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will notify the Argentine Government that this House cannot form an opinion of the renewal terms of an Anglo-Argentine trade agreement until the Argentine Government has passed its Transport Co-ordination Bill?

Mr. EDEN

The Argentine Government are fully aware as the result of representations previously made by His Majesty's Government of the importance attached by public opinion in this country to the passage of the Transport Coordination Bill.
