HC Deb 06 July 1936 vol 314 c846
41. Mr. T. SMITH

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how much money has been expended since the outbreak of the Palestine disturbances by the Palestine Government in hiring Arab lorries, Arab omnibuses, and other motor transport for military and Government purposes?

The SECRETARY of STATE for the COLONIES (Mr. Ormsby-Gore)

It would not be practicable, while disturbances are continuing, to obtain this information, but the High Commissioner for Palestine will be asked to report on the subject in due course.
