asked the President of the Board of Education whether it was upon the authority of his Department that a recommendation was made to the governors of the British Film Institute for a company, known as Educational and General Services for Cinema and Radio, Limited, as being a body suitable to act as a centralised agency for the supply of films and cinematograph apparatus to local education authorities and schools?

No, Sir. No such recommendation has been made to the governors of the Film Institute by my Department.
