asked the Attorney-General whether it is the intention of the Government to publish the report of the committee, presided over by Mr. Justice Atkinson, which has inquired into the subject of official shorthand writing in the High Court of Justice; What conclusions the committee have arrived at; and whether any decision has been taken as to future practice on this matter?

When my Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor has the opportunity of considering the recommendations contained in the report, to which the hon. Member refers, he will at the same time take into consideration the question as to whether the report shall be published.
