Friend understands that the local education authority have not yet been able to agree with the vendors on terms for the acquisition of the site in question and have decided that, in the event of agreement not being arrived at within the next few days, application should be made to the board for authority to purchase the land compulsorily.
§ Sir R. BLAIRIs my hon. Friend aware that five years ago the county council authorised this school, and does he not think five years is too long to wait for that site?
§ Sir J. BLINDELLIt does seem that a decision is now to be made.
