Resolved, That as from the twenty-second day of April, nineteen hundred and thirty-six, the duty of customs chargeable on parts of arc-lamp carbons, whether such parts are finished or not) shall, instead of being charged under Part I of the Import Duties Act, 1932, be charged under Section one of the Safeguarding of Industries Act, 1921, as amended by any subsequent enactment, and shall be a duty at the rate of seven shillings and six pence per pound weight. And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution shall have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1913.
