HC Deb 24 October 1935 vol 305 c300
50. Mr. GUY

asked the Minister of Transport whether he has considered the proposals for a Forth road-bridge submitted to him by a deputation of local authorities concerned on 18th October; and whether he can make a statement?

Captain HUDSON

I received a deputation a few days ago when for the first time the responsible authorities were able to submit proposals upon which they were agreed for a new bridge across the Forth. Many important aspects of the proposals require to be taken into account, and no time will be lost in giving them consideration.
