HC Deb 24 October 1935 vol 305 c322
83. Mr. D. GRENFELL

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether further action is to be taken in consequence of revelations at the inquiry held by the official receiver into the affairs of companies and individuals connected with the speculation in pepper and shellac which led to severe financial losses and public concern in the City and in the country generally?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

The matter is still under consideration.

Mr. GRENFELL

May I put down a question after the House reassembles?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

If my hon. Friend is here he will be able to do so.
