asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the population of the island of Jura in the years 1911 and 1931, respectively; and how many crofts and small holdings were in occupation on the island in these respective years?

The population of the island of Jura in 1911 was 570 and in 1931 382. The number of agricultural holdings not exceeding 50 acres in 1912 was 35, and in 1931 was 26.
