I beg to move, in page 177, line 42, at the end, to insert: (2) No Order in Council in relation to the transition from the provisions of Part XIII of this Act to the provisions of Part II of this Act shall be made under this section after the expiration of six months from the establishment of the Federation, and no other Order in Council shall be made under this section after the expiration of six months from the commencement of Part III of this Act. This Amendment carries out an under taking given by my right hon. and learned Friend during the Committee stage that Orders in Council dealing with the transitional period should only be possible for the period of six months.
