asked the Prime Minister whether he is is in a position to intimate the name of the person to be the new chairman of the British Broadcasting Corporation?

His Majesty has been pleased to approve that the Right Hon. Viscount Bridgeman be appointed chairman of the British Broadcasting Corporation, and that the Right Hon. H. A. L. Fisher be appointed to the ensuing vacancy on the Board of Governors.

In appointing persons to fill vacancies upon the Broadcasting Corporation will the Prime Minister give special regard to the claims of Wales on the grounds of language?
