HC Deb 07 March 1935 vol 298 c2137
75. Mr. DONNER

asked the Secretary of State for India whether the discussions which have been taking place with the Maritime States of Kathiawar, Cochin and Travancore, in respect of sea customs, have been concluded; if so, whether he can state the nature of the conclusions reached; and, if not, whether he can state, approximately, when he expects these discussions to reach a conclusion?

Mr. BUTLER

The matter is still in a provisional stage, but I hope that it may be possible to reach final settlements with the States in question within the next two or three months.
