asked the Prime Minister whether it is proposed to invite representatives of the French, Italian, and Soviet Governments to visit London to take part in discussions relating to naval armaments?

The answer is in the affirmative.

Can the right hon. Gentleman say whether any reply has been received to the invitation?

§ The PRIME MINISTER
The hon. Member asked whether it was proposed to invite representatives, and I have said that the answer is in the affirmative. I cannot give him any further information at the moment.
