asked the Attorney-General whether recommendations for appointment to the bench submitted by the Wallsend Advisory Committee are likely to receive consideration by the Lord Chancellor at an early date?

If and when the advisory committee in Wallsend recommend the appointment of additional justices of the peace, my Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor will consider the recommendations as soon as possible. No recommendations have up to date been received by him.
