HOAREI understand that the disturbances referred to took place in the north-west part of the State of Jaipur and arose out of agrarian grievances which the authorities of the State have taken steps to redress. Four fatal casualties occurred in the dispersal of a mob. I am not aware whether the State authorities propose to hold a formal inquiry into the incident.
