Lords Amendment: In page 32, line 10, after "charges," insert, "which the local authority are liable to pay."

I beg to move, "That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment."

The object of the Amendment is to cover the case where there has been a transfer of houses from one local authority to another consequent upon a revision of boundaries. The local authority who owned the houses may not be the authority which originally borrowed the money, and it is to rectify that position that the Amendment is moved.
