§ Mr. COOPERAs regards the numbers of men and women in the three classes mentioned, I would refer my hon. Friend to the statement given in reply to a question by the hon. Member for West Walthamstow (Mr. McEntee) on the 8th April, 1935. Figures for a date later than 1st April, 1934, are not yet available. As regards the second part of the question, sick leave statistics are collected only from the larger Departments and the returns do not show the various grades separately.
