§ 44. Mr. HENDERSON STEWART
asked the hon. and gallant Member for Rye, as representing the Forestry Commissioners, whether, as it is proposed to mark Their Majesties' Jubilee by the naming of a part of the Commission's land in England King's Forest, he will 1206 consider making similar recognition of the Commission's Scottish estates?
§ Colonel Sir GEORGE COURTHOPE (Forestry Commissioner)
The selection of a forest area in Scotland for this purpose is under consideration.
§ Mr. STEWART
Are we to understand that it is the intention of the Commissioners to carry out the suggestion made in the question?
§ Sir G. COURTHOPE
Yes, Sir. In order to give the public the greatest possible facilities of enjoying the forest, a consultative committee has been called together to go into the matter, and we await their report.
