HC Deb 18 July 1935 vol 304 c1205
28. Mr. GUY

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the amendments made by the rules council to the rules of court for the Court of Session, he will authorise a reprint of the rules; and, if so, whether he will arrange for the printing to be done in Edinburgh?

Mr. COOPER

It is understood that the consolidation of the rules of court for the Court of Session, including amendments which have already been made and others now under consideration by the rules council, is likely to be enacted at the end of this year or early next year. When promulgated, the consolidated rules will be printed. As these will be Statutory Rules and Orders, they will necessarily be printed in London, and it would be extravagant to incur the expense of reprinting in Edinburgh.

Mr. GUY

Is the right hon. Gentleman not aware that in Edinburgh there is a King's Printer?
