§ 27. Mr. DORANasked the Minister of Transport whether he has caused investigation to be made into the recent accidents at the corner of Galpin's Road and London Road, Thornton Heath; and whether, in view of the absence of any protection to pedestrian and vehicular traffic, he will consult with the local authority with a view to the erection of traffic lights, or with the Home Office with a view to the appointment of a 1036 police officer to control the traffic at this point?
§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAAccording to my information, three accidents, of which two involved injuries to persons, occurred at the junction referred to by my hon. Friend during the last 12 months. I will examine at once the case for the provision of light signals.
