HC Deb 08 July 1935 vol 304 cc8-9
11. Mr. COCKS

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what is the attitude of the German Government towards the question of the internationalisation or international control of civil aviation?

Sir S. HOARE

The German Government have not so far as I am aware defined their attitude on either of these matters since they withdrew from the Disarmament Conference in October, 1933.

Mr. COCKS

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that at the Conference they opposed the internationalisation of civil aviation, and am I to take it from his answer that there is no change in their attitude?

Sir S. HOARE

The hon. Member can look at the minutes of the Conference and see exactly what it was that the German Government then said, and I have nothing at present to add to my statement.
