§ Mr. REMERIs my right hon. Friend aware that there is considerable opposition to this Bill in the County of Lancashire and will he take into consideration the very large minority view before he finally presses this Bill on the House?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANI am quite well aware of what the feeling is in Lancashire, and would point out that there is a very large body of opinion in favour of the Bill which has been very much disturbed at the delays which have occurred.
§ Mr. MORGAN JONESAre we to take it that some persons have already seen a copy of this Bill before it has been seen by this House?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANThere are many people who have seen it. A draft Bill is often the subject of discussion.
