§ Sir J. SIMONThe employment of school children in agricultural work is subject to the restrictions in Part II of 1938 the Children and Young Persons Act and the by-laws made by local authorities who are responsible for their enforcement. Similar provisions have been in force for many years.
§ Mr. SHORTIs the right hon. Gentleman acting in conjunction with the Board of Education and the Ministry of Agriculture in this matter?
§ Sir J. SIMONI am sure that there is proper contact between the Departments, but if my hon. Friend has any instance which he wishes to bring to my notice, I will attend to it.
