HC Deb 11 December 1935 vol 307 c885
12. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any statement to make with reference to the situation at Danzig; and whether the decisions taken by the Council of the League of Nations at its last session on this question have now been carried out by the Senate?

The PRIME MINISTER

The Council of the League of Nations at its last session decided that the President of the Danzig Senate should be requested to submit, through the League High Commissioner, at the January session of the Council, a report on the action taken by the Senate in accordance with the Council's recommendations. This report has not yet been received, but I have every hope that it will be available before next month's meeting of the Council.
