HC Deb 10 December 1935 vol 307 c739
56. Mr. THURTLE

asked the Secretary for Mines the comparative figures of the sales of oil by the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company to foreign-owned companies for the period covering October and November, 1934, and October and November, 1935, respectively?

Captain CROOKSHANK

Oil is sold by the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company in many parts of the world, and I should not feel justified in asking the company to furnish details of their commercial transactions such as are asked for by the hon. Member.

57. Mr. THURTLE

asked the Secretary for Mines whether he has any information as to the extent to which oil which is being sold by British-owned companies to foreign-owned companies is being resold to Italy?

Captain CROOKSHANK

No, Sir.

Mr. THURTLE

Will the hon. and gallant Member obtain such information, because there is a desire for it in the House?
