26. Captain CAZALET
asked the Minister of Transport whether his attention has been called to the erection of a major road ahead sign in Lacock 1834 village, Wilts, and to the protests both of the local inhabitants and the Council for the Preservation of Rural England us to its position; and whether, in view of the fact that it is not required by motorists and constitutes a danger to pedestrians after dark, he will reconsider his decision as to its necessity?
My hon. Friend has asked for a report on this matter and will communicate further with my hon. and gallant Friend.
