asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he will specify the municipal aerodromes now established in this country or which are expected to be opened this year?

As the reply involves lists of names, I will, with my hon. and learned Friend's permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Following is the reply:

The municipal aerodromes now established are Blackpool, Bristol, Cardiff, Carlisle, Doncaster, Hull, Inverness, Ipswich, Leeds-Bradford, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Norwich, Nottingham, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Renfrew, Rochester, Scarborough (private use), Southampton, Stoke-on-Trent and Walsall. Municipal aerodromes that may be opened this year are Brighton-Hove-Worthing, Cheltenham - Gloucester, Grimsby, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Southend.
