§ 18. Lieut.-Colonel APPLINasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he is aware that the Air Ministry, having entered into a contract for the carriage 1832 of material between Busreh and Dhibban, now decline to carry out Clause 3 thereof which lays down the terms of payment of freight; and what are the grounds for this breach of contract entailing financial hardship on the carriers who are carrying out their part of the contract?
§ Sir P. SASSOONI can assure the hon. and gallant Member that there has been no breach of the contract by the Air Ministry. The second part of the question does not therefore arise.
