HC Deb 16 April 1935 vol 300 cc1661-3
23. Mr. SMEDLEY CROOKE

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether permission can be given for ex-service men to have the privilege of wearing the King's Silver Jubilee medal with other medals, it being understood Secretary to the War Office whether he is yet in a position to make any definite statement with regard to the possibility of transferring the Army depot at Woolwich to another part of the country; and, if not, by what date he anticipates it will be possible to make a statement on this subject?

Mr. HACKING

A decision on the future of the Royal Arsenal has not yet been reached. The question is a very large one, and I am afraid that it will be some time before I am in a position to make a statement on the subject.
