asked the Home Secretary whether the inquiry into the death of four youths in the Blackley, Manchester, bleach works is now completed; and, if so, whether he will give an indication of the findings.

The findings as to the cause of this accident were indicated in my reply to the hon. Member's question on the 21st June last. I am informed that the technical committee which was set up to study possible methods of preventing similar accidents have nearly completed their inquiry and that their report may be expected at an early date.
