HC Deb 09 April 1935 vol 300 c959
13. Duchess of ATHOLL

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he can now intimate the decision of the investigating committee in regard to the complaint made by the Association of Certified and Grade A (T.T.) Milk Producers in regard to the Scottish Milk Marketing Scheme?

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Jamieson)

The findings of the committee were announced in reply to a question by the hon. and gallant Member for Berwick and Haddington (Captain McEwen) on 20th February, of which a copy is being sent to the Noble Lady. An order will now be made to give effect to the proposal that the contribution payable in respect of certified milk sold as such, should be at the rate of one half-penny a gallon, with retrospective effect as from 1st May, 1934.
