§ Lieut.-Colonel COLVILLEI assume that the hon. Member is referring to the Franco-German Agreement which was signed on 30th March. This agreement prolongs the operation of the existing Franco-German clearing agreement until the 1st July, 1935, and provides for the opening of negotiations for a new arrangement before the 1st June.
