HC Deb 29 November 1934 vol 295 c991
15. Sir GIFFORD FOX

asked the Home Secretary whether, in view of the unprecedented traffic congestion caused in London by the temporary barriers which have been erected in connection with the Royal Wedding, he will take steps to ensure that these barriers are entirely removed during the course of Thursday afternoon, 29th November?

Captain CROOKSHANK

The Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis informs me that the barriers will be removed during the course of to-night, and I think that that is the most convenient time for the purpose.
