§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThe railway and canal companies concerned have informed me that, when Section 30 of the Road and Rail Traffic Act, 1933, is brought into operation, they intend to restrict the use of 280 bridges in Lancashire. In 48 cases they propose a maximum laden weight of five tons and in 53 a higher maximum: as to the remaining 179 cases, I have not yet received their detailed proposals.
