asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the appeal in the case of the motor-ship "Omar" has yet been heard by the Finnish authorities; and whether any representatives of the British interests concerned were present at the appeal?

The appeal in this case has been heard, and the judgment orders the confiscation of the "Omar" and the imprisonment of her captain. I am not yet clear as to the exact circumstances of the trial and am making further inquiries.
