The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the ADMIRALTY (Lord Stanley)The design of the K-type of submarine has not been given to the Government 1282 of any other nation, but the hon. Member probably has in mind the gift of the design of the "L" class submarine to Japan at a time when she was our ally during the late War.
