§ Mr. BALDWINNo, Sir. The note verbale referred to was supplemented by the letter of the 10th April from my right hon. Friend to the French Ambassador which defined more fully the questions to which His Majesty's Governmet wished to obtain the reply of the French Government. This letter has been published in the White Paper issued on the 18th April, as well as in the recent French blue book.
